Physical Therapists treat different types of neurological conditions to assist individuals in returning to the highest level of function and independence with daily activities as well as promoting their overall quality of life.

Physical Therapy Focuses on:
- Gait training (with appropriate assistive device if needed)
- Functional transfer training (to include sit-stand, stand-sit, lying down, rolling, bed mobility, etc.)
- Stair training
- Balance and coordination training
- Joint range of motion, strengthening and endurance
- Patient and family education
- Safety within the home
